Its key products include Soprano MEMS (Mobile Enterprise Messaging System), a software platform that carries high volumes of mobile messages, and manage spikes in volume.
In 2014, the company launched Soprano Gamma, an encrypted mobile messaging app built on the MEMS platform. Soprano Gamma enables enterprise organisations to secure communications across mobile phone networks and its clients include the UK National Health Service and US Postal Service.
The versatility of Soprano Design’s mobile messaging software is evident in its use by different industries. For example, finance companies use it for mobile passwords and banking alerts, while healthcare organisations can use it to deliver patient reminders and hospital-wide communications. Businesses in the retail and transport industries use Soprano’s mobile messaging technology to disseminate staff timetables, delivery schedules, job despatch notices and much more.
Soprano is the premier enterprise messaging partner for Telstra, one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, and is a strategic partner to 15 mobile network operators in Singapore, the UK and USA. Over 70 per cent of its revenue is derived from export sales, and 65 per cent of the company’s employees are located in 20 overseas offices in Asia, Europe, and North and South America.
