Austal (WA)

Austal is an Australian shipbuilder, defence prime contractor and marine technology partner, designing, constructing and supporting revolutionary defence and commercial ships for the world's leading operators.  They have successfully delivered more than 255 vessels to 100 operators in 44 countries, since 1988.

In Australia, Austal completed and delivered the first of two, unique 72 metre High Speed Support Vessels (HSSV's) for the Royal Navy of Oman, with a contract value of US$124.9million.   In the US, Austal delivered two 127 metre Littoral Combat Ships and two 103 metre Expeditionary Fast Transport ships (EPF's) to the US Navy, under 2 x 11 vessel contracts worth in excess of US$5billion.  Whilst in the Philippines, Austal delivered two 45 metre offshore crew transfer vessels for the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
