Engineering Institute of Technology Pty Ltd (WA)

A private college that provides distance education, the Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT), was founded in 2008 after two decades of classroom-based training. Annually, more than 1,400 students from 120 countries undertake engineering studies via EIT’s online learning platform. Live, interactive webinars are used, with remote laboratories and simulation software providing the practical applications, to deliver over 50 accredited courses and non-accredited professional competency certificates. In 2014, EIT was awarded higher education provider status by the Australian Government. One Masters was launched in 2015, and in 2016–7 another four Masters programs and four Bachelor programs are planned.
