Founded in 2010, Pepperstone is Australia’s largest foreign exchange broker, processing more than US$80 billion of currency transactions each month for 23,000 clients in over 130 countries. The company’s seven online platforms allow retail clients to trade 72 currencies on the interbank foreign exchange market, and access other markets such as commodities, indices and metals. In 2014–15, export sales accounted for 86 per cent of Pepperstone’s total annual revenue and the company has recently opened a new office in Thailand, its second in Asia after Shanghai, China. Pepperstone is currently ranked as the 11th largest foreign exchange broker in the world.
