From its beginnings in 1996 as a software retailer, reseller and consultancy, Tasmania’s ISW has grown into an international software developer. The company’s innovative software products include Address-IT (a digital bulk-mailing and labelling service), Cloud42 Protect (a fully automated remote access data backup service), and Kudos Suite (a productivity engine for IBM’s enterprise collaboration platform). ISW’s software is now used by over 300,000 professionals in more than 35 countries and its clients include Pepsi, Royal Bank of Scotland, Cambridge University Press, ING and Lufthansa Airways. In 2014–15, ISW’s export revenue increased by 38 per cent and now accounts for nine  per cent of the company’s total annual revenue.
