Levett Engineering Pty Ltd (SA)

Founded in 1989 by ex-Department of Defence engineer Paul Levett, Levett Engineering manufactures aerospace components and assemblies for commercial and military clients. Its components include a titanium hinge in an aircraft wing–holding mechanism, and drive shaft bearing housings in a supersonic jet engine. The company specialises in manufacturing titanium components and has 10 years’ experience working with this metal. In 2014–15, Levett Engineering increased foreign sales by 95 per cent and exports now account for 66 per cent of the company’s total annual revenue.
