Cape Barren Wines (SA)

South Australia’s world-renowned McLaren Vale region is home to Cape Barren Wines. In 2014–15, export sales comprised 47 per cent of the company’s total annual revenue, and its wines have attracted an international following in markets throughout Asia, Europe and North America. Cape Barren Wines’ flagship product is Old Vine Reserve Release Shiraz, harvested from some of Australia’s oldest vines, which are between 85 and 120 years old. Other popular brands include the Native Goose range consisting of Adelaide Hills Chardonnay, McLaren Vale Shiraz and McLaren Grenache/Shiraz/Mourvèdre (GSM) blend.
