FarmscanAG (QLD)

FarmscanAG designs and develops precision farming technology for the agricultural industry. Its products are used by agribusinesses worldwide to enhance productivity, and reduce waste and the over-application of pesticides, herbicides and fertilisers. FarmscanAG produces a range of electronics to steer, map, monitor and control spraying, spreading, planting and harvesting machinery. In 2014–15, the company increased export revenue to 40 per cent of total sales revenue, off the back of a successful international marketing campaign that saw receipt of its single largest order from a client in China, valued at over $1 million.
