OM (Manganese) (NT)

OM (Manganese) Ltd (OMM) is a producer and exporter of high value-in-use manganese ore into the China market.  Its core operating activities are at the Bootu Creek Mine, located 110 kilometres north of Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory.  Since the commencement of mining in 2005, OMM has exported in excess of seven million tonnes though the Port of Darwin.  Following the transition to an owner-operator model significant cost savings have been achieved while maintaining output objectives.  OMM forms part of the OMH Group, an integrated supplier of manganese ore, high carbon ferro manganese alloys and ferrosilicon units to the global steel industry.
