Quickstep Technologies (NSW)

Founded in 2001, Quickstep Technologies manufactures advanced components for customers in the global defence and aerospace industries. One hundred per cent of the components and assemblies produced by the company’s 160 employees in Bankstown, NSW, are exported internationally. Quickstep Technologies also designs process solutions for the cost-effective and rapid manufacture of advanced composites. Quickstep Technologies has seen significant aerospace component growth with a 181 per cent increase in export revenue in 2014–15. In mid-2015, the company established an automotive division and Global R&D Centre at Deakin University’s Geelong campus in Victoria, to develop its composites technology business for the global automotive and aerospace sectors.
