Hedweld’s patented mining and safety equipment is exported to 31 countries, with 2014–15 exports comprising 57 per cent of the company’s annual sales. Hedweld designs and manufactures more than 70 products, including the Trilift® range of component handling equipment and the Safe-Away® range of ladder and stair access systems. The company continues to invest in product development and in 2014–15 launched several new products that deliver improved safety and provide strong productivity gains for the mining and earthmoving sectors. Hedweld has strengthened its position with existing clients and exports to new markets in Morocco and Zambia.
