Founded in 2003, Aspen Medical provides healthcare services to organisations and governments in remote, challenging and under-resourced areas. These services range from a single paramedic to multidisciplinary healthcare teams, medical facilities and equipment, and aero-medical evacuations. The company now employs more than 2,500 professionals working across Australia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, the Middle East, Africa, the UK and the USA. In 2014–15, Aspen Medical’s export revenue increased by 73 per cent to more than $52 million, and its achievements included delivering seven Ebola treatment centres in Sierra Leone and Liberia on behalf of the Australian, UK and USA governments.
