future fibre technologies the Prime Minister’s Australian exporter of the Year
The 12 category award winners and the overall Prime Minister's Exporter of the Year was announced at a gala event in Sydney on 1 December 2010.
This year's winner Future Fibre Technologies, who also won the Small to Medium Manufacturer award category, is a global market leader in the manufacture of fibre optic intrusion detection and location systems.

State and Territory Export Award Winners
Winners from the State and Territory Export Award programs have all been announced. This year’s national finalists employed over 40,000 people and generated $7 billion in export earnings during the financial year 09/10.
These winners now progress as National Finalists in the 48th Australian Export Awards program which will culminate at the National Awards Ceremony to be held in Sydney at the Town Hall on Wednesday, 1 December 2010.
