The winners of each of the State and Territory export award programs were announced throughout September and October 2011. These companies, listed below, go on to be National Finalists in the 49th Australian Export Awards. The benefits of being a National Finalist include:
- An opportunity to compete for the Prime Minister's Australian Exporter of the Year;
- A comprehensive media and publicity campaign highlighting the success of all National Finalists, prepared by Austrade;
- An Australian Export Awards National Finalist certificate;
