48th Australian Export Award Winners
Who will win this year's 49th Australian Export Awards? There are 12 award categories and the overall Prime Minister's Australian Exporter of the Year. Winners will be announced at a highly anticipated event on the Australian business calendar to be held in Brisbane on Thursday, 8 December 2011.
Last year Australia’s top exporters were honoured for their achievements in international business at the 48th Australian Export Awards Ceremony in Sydney on 1 December 2010.
Hosted by the Minister for Trade, The Hon Dr Craig Emerson MP, the Awards celebrated Australia’s best exporters by commending them for their achievements and commitment to success in overseas markets.
Speaking at the event, which was held at Sydney Town Hall, Dr Emerson congratulated the twelve Award winners for their hard work, which he said overall had made a significant contribution to the strength of Australia’s economy.
The 12 winners listed below have generated more than A$3.5 billion in export earnings in the past year, and employed over 13,000 people. These winners are dynamic, resourceful and determined to succeed in international business.
