2009 Australian Export Award Winners
In 2009 the Awards were renamed to the number of years duration of the program, rather than the year the Awards took place which was to coincide in the lead up to the 50th celebrations - a milestone.
Winners were announced at the National Awards Ceremony at Parliament House, Canberra on Friday, 20 November 2009.
The 12 winners of 47th Australian Export Awards are impressive examples of companies that have achieved sustainable export growth through innovation and good management. Congratulating the National Winners, the Minister for Trade, the Hon. Simon Crean said that collectively, these 12 companies had earned more than $1.5 billion in export sales during the last financial year and employed nearly 2,500 people.
The Minister for Trade, the Hon Simon Crean MP presented the 12 winners and the overall Prime Minister's Australian Exporter of the Year Award.
